damper modification help

Bill Spurlock also has an excellent paper on vertical damper replacement. It includes evaluation techniques for placement, and excellent new design examples. He suggests using longer damper in general. I have followed his guidelines on several uprights and had excellent results. I always make my own dampers from scratch now.
