Actually, I think the SOT that had the 6V battery, was a modification, made by Tuners Supply. I think there was a legal case between, Inventronics and Tuners Supply, which died when Tuners Supply, went under. I started out with a SOT, that had two 9V batteries, and I have upgraded a couple of times. I now have the SATlll, and am well satisfied, and never regretted, the upgrading. The SATlll, does all, I require, in fact, I do not utilize half of it's potential. However, if I was younger, I would be tempted to try the Verituner. Regards, John M.
