Digital camera suggestion?

I bought the same model of camera and like it very much. I'm able to take
more picture per battery charge than you. Maybe you have it set so the flash
goes on every shot. The flash will take quite more battery than just taking
a shot. Make sure you set the camera's flash to auto. There is a setting
that will have the flash on even if not needed.

It's small enough to fit comfortably in her purse (or my
pocket) so we tend to always have it with us. With an expanded 64 Mb memory
card it will hold about 100 pictures. My only complaint is that the battery
gives out after about 35 pictures. I really need to get her a couple more
batteries.
