How much is your time worth when you try to use a damaged product? 
Consider the time to get a replacement, or worse, have to redo a job
because of a failure.

Have a primary case with all needed perishables and tuning equipment in
it and take it inside every night.  Since I do not drive that is the way
I _have_ to do it.  So could you.
