I've been following this discussion and I was wondering why someone hasn't thought about using isolated transducer pickups in the various sectional areas to define and record what really is making it to where. I just seems to me that using 14th Century technology to define this is somewhat a step away from the technology that is available to us. IMHO a monochord just isn't it. Joe Garrett, RPT
