Bad Tenor/Bass Scale Break?

I just had a nasty thought. Remember my post and subsequent responses
regarding telling a piano owner about defects you have observed in their
piano?????

Now what would I tell this lady about her beloved piano? Shall I use the
term "Carnival Freak"? Or should I just try the elusive route - "interesting
and uncommon design characteristics - rarely found even in high quality
pianos today"? You know she'll want an explanation.
