Newton is only half right, this time! Acetone is indeed an ingredient
in debonder for CA. But it won't dissolve polyester if it's cured. CA
will eat into poly, and will have to be sanded and buffed off. Sorry,
there's no other way. Gluing those rubber buttons on with CA is
another way to discover what you have found- it's too easy to smear the
stuff where you don't want it- and then it's too late.
