Yeah, totally different, yet real, and kindof interesting.  Another 'goofy' 
phenomenon:

In addition to graphing the beat rates of major thirds and minor thirds in a 
triad, if you graph the DIFFERENCE between the two, this will predict those 
chords that 'stand out' (Coleman IX, E triad, Moore Ab triad) and shows a 
particular 'smooth' pattern when graphing Equal beating temperaments.

Are there beats between beats?  Or the 'cancelling' effect?

Hmmmmmm...... I think I've been spending too much time with the spreadsheet!
