Thats funny, I tuned a Kohler upright, 52" that had 2 missing treble strings. I miced and came up with 11.5. The note before was a 14 so somehow someone put in some mighty thin wire which couldn't handle the tension apparently...I don't think I've ever seen 11 wire...
