I had a Cable console (questions as to whether that's a "piano" not allowed) which had 18" of water in it in a flood, about ten years ago. Local, Martin Wisenbaker, long before I got messed up in the piano business told me to immediately open it up, get a fan going and "see what happened".......... No rust No bad bass strings No separated glue joints Piano is still working just fine.
