Jarred Finnigan Jarred, List, It would seem the relative tuning ease would be more related to the amount of friction that exists in areas that contact the strings, and the degree of tightness in the pinblock where the tuning pins are turned. The comparison of a v bar versus an agraffe, within the total equation of one being easier or not to tune, seems somewhat moot as both require some minimum degree of deflection is order to help create one of the speaking length termination points.
