Richard,

"White" glue has a different reference here, i.e. Elmer's Glue which is a
casein base glue or milk base.

"White" glue in Europe and Japan refers to PVC (polyvinylcloride) or a
plastic glue.

In the case of the PVC it should work but the glue remains a bit soft
forever.  CA and epoxies tend to be rock hard.

Casein glue will not work but it will corrode the pins and make a mess hard
to clean up.
