Hi Keith, and thanks for your mail.......these are very interesting and useful about areas that I would like to follow up. The Simplex action that I refer to is found in "baby grands" of the modern era Challen Chapell etc and some not so good makes....but being small the public like them, and there seem to be a lot of them out there. A dealer near to me was trying to get one of his techs to regulate one, but I was unable to give a kind of "checklist" having always "done them by feel" working roughly to standard set off, key dip and blow.........However, with the much appreciated help from the list, I am begining to feel my way toward something!
