I have used them for unscrewing, but not for screwing - especially into wood. I would not like the lack of direct feel for how tight the screw is getting. I was just kinda (not really) kidding about the divots - although every once in a while I will take a chunk out of a nicely finished plate - but I don't consider it to be a big problem. Thanks.
