Paul,
Basically you have to edit out stuff in the composition window. There are
several ways to do it.
1. If you are using Netscape or Internet Explorer, click "Reply", then drag
your cursor over the stuff you want to get rid of and press the "Delete"
key.
2. Drag your cursor over the stuff you want to send in the original message
to select it. The click CTRL-C to copy, then CTRL-V to paste it into a new
message window. This procedure should work with any software you may have.
You can also right-click the selected area, select "Cut" then "Paste" to do
the same thing.
3. If you have a bunch of fowarding marks, you can use procedure 2. to
paste into your word processor then click just to the left of the first
letter of text for a line and select everything from there to the margin,
copy it, do CTRL-F to get your search window and click "replace" to get the
"Find & Replace" window. Paste your "forwarding marks" into the "Find" box
and leave the "Replace With" box empty. Select "Replace All" and "Enter".
The program will remove all the marks similar to the one you copied. Repeat
the process for different marks. When you are through, "Select" and "Cut"
everything you have left and "Paste" it back into your "Reply" or "New
Message" window, sign your name and punch it out.

Hope this helps,

Warren
