My Hearing Condition ,Please read this

I guess I should have added to my last post, that a few years ago I did go
to my regular physician a couple years ago becuase I could not hear. They
put the drop in my ears and after a few minutes, flushed with warm water
from a rubber ear syringe/bulb. But I realize that not all physicians are on
the ball. That's why I'm wondering if there is something better. Is there an
alternative method that a ENT-type physician might use??? I am not adverse
to going to a physician, but prefer not to spend the $ if all they are going
to do is use over-the-counter products and methods.
