There's only one way to find out.  And even then you cannot be sure that it's 
not a hodgepodge of woods.  In most cases, though the case will probably we 
mahogony or walnut or a mixture.  You will have to proceed with a refinishing 
 whether or not it's back to ebony or natural and that is what you have to 
charge for.  Hopefully, the existing finish warrants this.

Strip it and find out.
