RH in home 63% RH today with false beats a-ringin'. Damp-Chaser system - you know that dehumidification system that keeps the RH in the area of the soundboard at 42% - not on as it has been all winter. It usually does not turn on unless the RH in room approaches 70%. And yes, I have placed hygrometers right on top of the humidistat many times and monitored them for weeks and they typically only come on around 60% to 70% RH. I have the dry calibration humidistat controlling the room dehumidifier in my shop (the one that is supposed to turn on and off around 36% or 38% RH) and it regularly turns the dehumidifier on and off right around 50% RH. Thanks for asking. But that's not it!
