Mark I've tried it but found the results not to be as good as the Guardsman Treated Dust Cloth that I've been using. The Swiffer is smaller and did/does a fairly good job of picking up loose dust (I like it for dusting off fresh dust on cases using very gentle strokes or smears appear on high gloss finishes). But I noticed that it wasn't as efficient nor as strong with "old" dust as on a soundboard and would not hold up well to using a sounboard steel and heavier rubbing. (Scratched soundboard finish is hard to fix with all the strings in the way.) :-(( Paul Chick ----- Original Message ----- From: <bases-loaded@juno.com> To: <pianotech@ptg.org> Sent: Tuesday, February 27, 2001 9:40 PM Subject: Re: Swiffer > Hi Mark - > > This is not first hand knowledge, but rather a report from a furniture > conservator.
