It would if the situation was a simple as "add a string and Bridge impedance
lowers". But things are quite a bit more complicated then that.  You have all
these phasing situations between strings and between them and the
bridge/soundboard configuration. Reading the available science on the subject
will leave you scratching your head (at least it does mine) wondering probably
about more then you started out with. But it is facsinating and it is worth the
time and effort.
