Hi Jim, Is it a membrane keypad? It would be normal, that no other button works until the tune button works. That is because it is in the cal mode. I wouldn't think it would be a thermal thing. I think the tune button contacts are contaminated. So it would need a new switch, or if membrane, then a new keypad/ display. Just my thoughts. Regards, John M.
