List I seriously doubt that the mason rim structure needed any help in the stiffness dept! Hey the rims are only the thickest ones eveer built' I also would not be the one trying to distort the rim by cranking in those rod nuts. Ron N has influenced my thinking as to the devices changing of the rim impedance. It makes symbiotic relational sense. Dale Erwin
