My results have been similar to the others already mentioned. It does adhere well to vertical surfaces. There is minimal odor. The keys to making it work well are getting a thick enough coat and timing of removal. My biggest difficulty was was getting enough material on. I was using a natural bristle brush, but not a wide enough one. I tried it on a couple of different finishes and it did seem to need a second coat more often with the varnish. I tried differences in the thickness of the application and it is best to get it about as thick as you possibly can. Doing this evenly is the trick. I tested scraping it off at varying times after application and it seemed best between 45 and 90 minutes. I work in a quite confined area and it was nice not to be so concerned about fumes. There will be places that require a second coat, but that seems to be the case with other strippers I have used. All in all, it seems like a good product. John Voigt
