It started out as a fun idea, and I was itching to tune a piano for some reason. During the tuning I got to thinking what if a string were to break, or something were to go wrong that I didn't have the means to fix before show time. It was a eerie feeling realizing the situation I had put myself in without considering possible consequences. Fortunately, everything came off without a hitch. The musicians were delighted, and for a couple of hours, I dined and danced the night away with my honey.
