Impact Hammer

Hi Eliot -

Have you tried sending the hammer back to  Schaff to have them attempt to 
correct the problem?  If it's the Keyes model, I've had one for a while and 
find it quite elegant and well constructed.  I like the adjustable aspect 
of the weight.  I'd be surprised if they weren't willing to repair it for you.
