---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment There is a process/forms to fill out with Customs prior to shipping to gain clearance for the ivory. Pre-ban status (age) would have to be ascertained. After shipping, if discovered by Customs, the piano will be confiscated and the ivory will have to be removed and destroyed. I'll be doing this to three pianos next week in Boston because the dealer did not file the paperwork. His pianos usually made it through Customs unscathed but an over exuberant agent was searching creates for smuggled goods. get the forms and avoid problems and extra expenses of new parts.
