Stephan, I don't mean to be unkind, but you're not even on the same planet in this discussion. JD et al are discussing GRANDS, whereas you are talking about your Upright. Even tho there are similarities in basic string design, I don't think we can mix to two. Grands is Grands and Uprights is Uprights. They both sound like a piano, but there the similarities take wide jumps away from each other, in their basic sound producing structure(s). Joe Garrett, RPT, (Oregon)
