Good post Terry..there's 2 that I service that I would give my right arm
for(can I get it back so I can play again?!?)..as is..right now:

1912 S&S 'O' - everything except 1 wound wire is original..sings like a
bird..would sound like the whole flock if it was re-whatevered...the last
time I serviced it, the owner told me it was in 'the will' to me..yea,
right.

1931 M&H A - re-strung 50 years ago..original hammers..bass that rivals any
7'er I have ever heard..soul..mucho soul..I have a hard time getting up from
it..a sure sign for me.

There's probably another 1/2 dozen or so that I could mention, but these 2
stand head and shoulders above anything else I service.

I have let my feelings be known about these instruments to the owners..they
are exceptional instruments owned by exceptional people.
