Tuning a Player Piano

Hi,

A useful tip might be to tie a long string to your mutes. It may save you
a lot of time and effort. I do surcharge for player pianos and I generally
tune them with a split mute (two for the price of one). This allows me to
not disturb the often rather fragile player mechanism.

Make sure the player works before you start tuning. You do not wish to be
invited to fix what you did not damage.
