temperament with fifths and fourths.

This is to all that use Temperaments with fourths and fifths:

1) what to listen for?   the beats or just the first beat. i noticed that
it´s easier to tune just listening to the first beat. easier to to learn to
hear the time between the first beat and the blow.

2) do you guys use any control intervalls?

3) how long did it take to learn a temperament with fourths and fifths

4) what is the best way to practise?

i´m now using tunelab and a calculated curv for my piano. will that do it?
will the beating be allright for other pianos if i learn that my piano beats
like this... ???
