Hi Phil, You got lots of good advice on this one, I've seen a few where the bridge cut out is rubbing against the plate. But i will bet it will be sound board/bridge related. If it is the plate/ bridge cut problem, use a flush cut saw and gain some clearance, by trimming the end of the bridge.
