Hi Dale,
            I have only only done one treble bridge cap in Boxwood,
replicating
what was there. I can check my hardwood supplier and see what he has, or can
get.
Some of the responses got me wondering, since some mentioned that it was
easier
to work than Maple.  I found it to be a lot harder. but less tear out. It
machine's very cleanly, but chisling the notches I found harder, and harder on
the chisel.
But one cap hardly make's me an expert.
