Encountered a refinished piano recently and the refinisher didn't mask off the keybed such that it received a generous overspray of black lacquer (nice job). The bed is now quite rough and the action doesn't slide very well. Any suggestions as to how to deal with this. My first thought is to just fine sand it and lubricate the bed.
