Hi Dave

 I do not have pesonal expeireince with new boxwwod but have heard from
others that it's easeir to carve where the treble sections curve and grain
oreintation gets squirrly.  I don't think it's as hard as maple Or at least
the old stwy caps made from it appear less dense.  Can someone one else
confirm that?
  Would like to try it myself!
