Mine came out crystal clear but I've seen it open as machine language, (alphabet soup as you call it), for reasons only known to Bill Gates. I have discovered that in most cases if you save the scrambled file to your desk top and then open it from there in a picture viewer, (such as quicktime), most cases you can view it.
