When I pointed out in a private post to one person that it made him sound like a "good ol' boy redneck" and that it was potentially offensive to all of the PTG Members who are not US citizens, he became defensive about it, calling my massage a diatribe and saying that it was properly called "the National" because it was something created by *our* nation. Oh puhlease! Why not just call it what it is rather than always trying to come up with some kind of jargon for it? Indeed, a Canadian technician asked me once at the PTG Annual Convention which, incidentally was in Toronto, Ontario, Canada that year why "American Piano Technicians *always* use *slang* to describe *everything*?" Personally, I avoid it. Bill Bremmer RPT Madison, Wisconsin ---------------------- multipart/alternative attachment An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
