To Tony Caught: You had one item backwards in your description of the 6-3 Bass octaves. It is the 6th partial of the lower note and the 3rd partial of the upper note. If you end up with a -2 cents on the 6th partial of A0, your fundamental of A0 is probably around -10 or so. This is not too bad for that area of the piano on a low inharmonicity piano. In TunelabPro, us "T" to dink around with the graph. To make it lower in the Bass upper screen use the control key "h" described in the help screens. You may also raise the high treble by using the control key "o". If you go too far, you can use the "y" Key in the Bass to raise it back up a little, or use the "l" key to drop it back down a little. All of this adjusting is according to your personal preference. You can view the graphs in either cents or beats width. Use c for cents and b for beats. Jim Coleman, Sr. PS On the subject of short duration in the treble, If there is no possibility of putting on new hammers where you can do some deep shoulder needling, you can give the impression of a little more duration by very carefully tuning one string of the unison to get the bare start of a beat going. This is very tricky, but may get you out of a bind on a note or two. This is not a solution to the problem, but only a temporary fix when there is no other possibility.
