Hi Dave,
              Yes, I ream them from both sides, the objective is to have
the hole round, and the counter sink free of ridges and burr's, so there is
a clean cut going into the parallel part of the hole.  The parallel portion
is about 1/16" by trusty eye ball. Maybe a tad more.
I have hade some new agraffes that the counter sink is too deep, in that
case it will wear very quickly.
These I will reject.
I like to polish the agraffes and clear coat them with high goss laquer.
Just looks pretty.
Once you get the feel of your bit and tool, you quickly find the right
pressure to use for a nice clean result.
