You might try spraying some Odo-Ban which is available at Sam's. I had a
client who filled her piano with fabric softening dryer sheets to try to get
rid of a former owner's smoky smell. It seemed to help. Since they are
soft, they won't interfere or buzz. I've used Odo-Ban on old musty
furniture with good success.
