It's called a Mini-Drum Hygrothermograph, by Oakton. Catalog #9A-49438. =
Their web site is www.labsafety.com . What kind of problems are you =
having?

This piano is checked and serviced every week as are all our major =
instruments. Over the past eleven years it hasn't varied more than 3-4 =
cents as the room is kept at 72 degrees, 40 per cent all year 'round. =
The past seven weeks, however, there has been a 10-12 cent =
variation...one week a little flat, next some sharp. My instinct is =
that there is a defect in the HVAC system somewhere, but I'm told by the =
maintenance folk that it has remained constant as usual. I have left my =
hygrometer for 24 hour periods and, in fact, there is no major =
variation. My problem is that the piano is 150 miles from where I live =
and I can't take daily readings. Therefore, the question about a =
hygrometer that would provide a digital read-out over a number of days. =
I KNOW this piano. There's nothing wrong with the instrument as far as =
I can tell. I also know the maintenance people and they're not "blowin' =
smoke" at me. They're taking me seriously and are nice guys that I talk =
to all the time. I just suspect that there is something happening that =
they're not catching. =20
That's my problem...and thanks for asking. I'm kind of perplexed =
and want to find the solution.
