Regarding pitch raises....from +-50c and <, i charge in advance for 3 full tunings, pull up outside strings in the dark while setting temperament, pull strips, tune, and take a short break, re-tune and pencil in appt for 3-4 weeks off. The good part about being paid in advance is that they will definately be waiting on you to do the 3rd tuning and not letting someone else get the glory for the final fine tuning while blaming you for leaving them with an unstable tuning, which will happen should you leave them with a pitch raise on an instrument which hasn't been tuned in years. tom mc
