You can get a=440 on your short wave radio WWV. You will find it on 5000, 10,000, and 15000 mc. They give you a minute of it.....I think 18 min. after each hour, but now sure of that. Been awhile. BTW the SOT is off a bit, but not enough to make a whole lot of difference. There are two adjustments when re-calibrating. One is a small variable capacitor....the other is a tuning slug on a coil (inductor). You need to go back and forth until you get it so the spacing between notes is correct. Have fun.
