I have only had to replace one humidistat so far (I do not install, nor have
I run across any humidifier components in Florida). I got a replacement from
DC and installe it at no charge. I did not install it initially, the tech
before me did. I did not charge her for it - of course it only took a few
minutes - although when you consider ordering the new one, etc, there was
more than a few minutes involved. I did not charge nor seek reimbursement
from DC because of the small fee involved. It would seem to me however, that
our installation fee should be covered - perhaps it depends on how often
something like that were to occur.
