Turkey Dinner

Hi List

Thought I might tell you all that tonite many of Bergens Piano Techs are
comming over for Dinner. Each year now Siri and I arrange a Turkey dinner
with all the fixings.. Usually at Halloween but this year we had to move it
up a week.

Seems to me that we PT's see each other way too seldom, and almost always
at some function of the PTG or the like, or in some other more or less
proffesional connection. This is a great way to build bridges and
freindships between us that transcend that more "shop talk" kinda thing. We
will no doubt talk a bit of shop.. but we are gathered more in fellowship
then for any other reason... grin... and the coffee and brandy as well..

Norwegians dont eat Pumpkin as a rule... so the pumpki pie they get here is
always fun for me.. they love it and have the hardest time understanding
that something as odd as a pumpkin can taste so good.

You all might want to try something like this... Great fun. Later this year
we will all get together again for the Christmas dinner put on by another
tech in town. Since we have been doing this PT's in town have gotten to
know and trust each other in a way they never did before.

Besides... Turkey, stuffing, pumpkin pie and the rest... num num.... :)
