stretching new bass strings

Hi Terry,

I would suggest u bring the string no more than ten cents sharp. Then mute
it. I prefer to come back in a day, a week, and a month for new bass
strings. Which U1 is it? Is it in a church? (put the pedal to the metal
type of playing?)
