Yes, and yes. I point out to them that they are getting a tuner on standby 
for free - if I actually do any emergency work, they pay only for that. I 
can't remember when I've been turned down. If the house is sold out, I stand 
backstage, which is sometimes even better. If it's a concert I don't want to 
go to, I charge for standby time. I usually try to go, though, as I love 
attending events for which I have tuned, even after all these years (30).
