re: lacquer thinner on keytops: I just now went out to my shop and marked a piece of plastic keytop with felt marker...didn't let it dry very long, but then wiped it off with lacquer thinner and the keytop was not Affected (not effected). If the marker is on there for a long time however, it might not come off so easily. And the type of plastic is probably also a factor.
