May/ june 1998, there was a discussion about tape residue on key tops. I
think many of the cleaners and solvents are also good for removing marker.
I would try Brasso first. Most things come off easily with Brasso, and it
doesn't hurt the plastic. (On the contrary, it removes also small
scratches, in case you already tried thinner or acetone. Don't use any of
those!)
