Don,

Look carefully at the center bushing and you might see the
pin has created a major depression for itself in the center
bushing.  It works fine except for getting back into it's
slot.  You can actually feel it if you work the key up and
down gently without wippen weight upon it.  Also there is a
remote possibility that the capstan has dug itself a major
fox hole in the rocker cushion.

How much weight to use is how much is required.  Down and
dirtiest is graduated down weight about 50 to 45 grams in
treble without dampers and bumping key frame to break static
friction.  I would use Jiffy leads and screw them into place
on the underside of the key using 5/8"x4 flathead philips
sheet metal screws.  No hole drilling.  You need to make
sure the lead will clear all keyframe members and you may
have to cut one or two in half to make it all work.  Crude
but it works.
