Yamaha U1 touchweight

I like the idea of strengthing the hammer return springs.  On a typical
upright with the spring rail this can really make a difference, but would it
be as dramatic with the butt springs like the Yamaha?  I have no real
problem with jiffy weights as they are easy to install and remove.
